Get Rid of Blackheads On Your Forehead

One of the worst place to get blackheads on your skin is undoubtedly your forehead. You can't really squeeze blackheads here or you'll end up with red blotchy patches for everyone to see. Not a great look if you've got a hot date that night. Acne scarring is a problem you absolutely don't want to have to deal with and this can be the result of squeezing those little black monsters! There are a few ways you can get rid of blackheads on your forehead however. You may try a few home remedies first and of course there are lots of over the counter products. If the home remedies work then you'll save yourself some money. If not, it's time to bring out the big guns and unfortunately your wallet.

Use Honey to Get Rid of Blackheads On Your Forehead

A lot of people have had success using honey to treat their blackheads so it could be used to remove blackheads on your forehead. You basically add the honey to your forehead for 10 minutes then wash it off with a warm cloth. The idea is that honey will stick to the blackheads and be removed when you wipe away the honey. They should come away fairly easily and no squeezing should be required. That's the theory anyway. An even more effective way of doing this is to give yourself a steam facial. The steam from boiling water will work wonders on your skin. Just be careful with the steam as of course it can burn your skin so make sure you don't get too close to it. You can do this with the honey on your face and this will open up your pores and let the honey remove the blackheads from your forehead when you wipe it off. A great way of combining two methods.

Use Baking Soda To Remove Blackheads

Other people have found success by using baking soda and warm water and applying this to your skin. If any irritation occurs by using the baking soda then stop using it immediately. Some peoples skin will not be able to handle this as it can be quite abrasive. If no irritation occurs then this technique would be ideal for your forehead and could potentially leave you with acne and blackhead free skin. The whole idea here is to open up your pores to make the blackhead removal easier. This is of course another home remedy for getting rid of blackheads. I'd also recommend using an exfoliating scrub at least twice a week. Use a warm cloth to scrub your forehead and get rid of those nasty blackheads. Work this into your weekly cleansing routine as it can be a great way to get rid of dirt and grime in your skin.

Biore Blackhead Removal Strips

I'm sure you've heard of the blackhead removal strips that Biore sells. Success rates using the strips seems to be quite high especially if you use it in conjunction with a facial steaming first to open the pores. If your pores are open before you put the strips on the blackheads will come away much easier. Have a look online and see if you can get some free trials of the strips first before purchasing any as they may not be suitable for your skin. As with any skin treatment success rates will vary as we all have different types of skin. It's a case of trial an error to find out which treatment works best for you. If you've ever wondered how to get rid of blackheads on your forehead then I hope some of the tips above have answered your question.
