Britains Got Talent 2010

Believe it or not, it's that time of year again! Where complete unknowns become Internet superstars and then take on the world. This time last year no one had heard of Susan Boyle and now she's a world famous performer. It was all thanks to a little show called Britain's Got Talent that Susan was launched into the limelight. As Britain's Got Talent 2010 has now begun will we see another superstar like Subo being born? Or will we just mark that down as a one off and accept that another George Samson might take the title this year. I heard you all asking George who? If you did then you know what I'm talking about!

Britain's Got Talent 2010 is currently in it's fourth week and the standard has been mixed so far. There's usually at least one standout from each episode with the rest being merely average or absolutely terrible. Simon Cowell has voiced his support of dog acts this year and there have been a couple of outstanding ones. My favorite so far as been Tina and Chandi. This act has to be seen to be believed. A dog doing ballet anyone? I couldn't believe it either when I saw it!

There has also been the usual mix of dance groups which I'm really not a huge fan of. I always think they're great for the background but please let there be a singer at the front. The standout in this area so far has been Tobias Mead. His performance caught the judges as well as the audiences attention with his 'backward' dancing. By this I mean he flipped around to show a Heath Ledger style joker mask on the back of his head and he then proceeded to dance with his back to the audience as if he were facing them.

There have been quite a novelty acts on too. My favorite so far has been Kevin Cruise who did his whole cruise line entertaining routine in a few minutes. Simon Cowell hated it but the other two judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan differed in opinion and put Kevin through. I wonder just how far he'll get in this competition. Hopefully not all the way to end where the winner will perform for the Royal Family?

Amanda Holden has also been catching a lot of attention. Everyone was impressed with Amanda Holden's red dress and other outfits she has worn on the show. She's also had to fend off various rumors about having Collagen in her lips. She denies this of course but the newspapers run the story anyway!
